It\u2019s solid at room temperature, and becomes liquid when heated. It has an oily, mild to medium intensity coconut flavor and odor.<\/p>\n<p>Coconut butter is arguably the peanut butter of the tropics. It\u2019s made by pureeing coconut meat, including the oil. The spread is solid at room temperature and softens when heated. The end result is a spread with strong coconut flavor and odor.<\/p>\n<p>Coconut butter is made from the whole coconut, so it also contains saturated fat, around 10 grams per tablespoon. It has nutrients coconut oil doesn\u2019t, most notably fiber.
